The artist calls himself STARPARAMOUR– Star for the dream he has of being a world-renowned artist and paramour for the fact that he’s a “universals lover.” Under that stage name, he released his debut album on January 16 2019, called “Nights.” The first single from that album, “The Man,” reached top 200 on the charts fairly quickly after the release, and since that time the album has been gaining traction across the rest of the country. His sound has been described as one part PartyNextDoor, one part Drake, one part Kanye West, and all parts original and one-of-a-kind. His sound on “Nights” is chill and vibey – stuff that listeners could just “ride to,” he said. It’s a project that he said is “real, with no BS,” and which taps into that “LA feel.”

“It’s its own sound,” he said. “You can’t really find anything like it. I’ve heard people say I remind them of PartyNextDoor or even The Wknd – and those are my favorite artists so I don’t mind that. But I’m different than them. I have that wave – that star wave – that separates me from anyone else.”

STARPARAMOUR currently owns his own label and independently releases music himself. He produces, sings, engineers, raps … he does pretty much everything throughout the process of creating music. He said he started when he was young – at about age 11 – when he saw other independent artists making music and he was inspired to try it out. He literally built things from scratch, finding computer parts and making his own computer which he started producing music on as soon as it was complete. When people started hearing his music, they couldn’t believe he had done it himself at such a young age – and their reactions sealed his fate. He has continued to make music ever since and said he hasn’t looked back once.

As he rides the wave of success with “Nights,” STARPARAMOUR is already looking to the next projects. He’s working on his next album, “Xxx,” which he plans to drop in June. He said this album will have more edginess to it – bringing raw energy that showcases him in an uncensored full effect.

“I want to be known for honesty and real emotion behind it,” he said of his music. “Every song you hear, you can go back to the moment when you heard it and it will bring you back to the real-ness. There’s a lot of fake going on in the industry. Sometimes when I’m driving and I don’t like the music on the radio, I have to put on myself because it’s real and it’s good. That’s what I want to bring to the rest of the world.”

This is one of the few times you are able to purchase masters of the first albums of an artist who is clearly on the rise. For someone to put out music of this caliber and get this much traction with fans at his age tells you a lot about how much further he has to go in his career.

If you look at the overall revenue you will see it has been on an upward trajectory since he started in 2019.  Although these are all new albums and songs the increase in streams is impressive with it staying consistent over the last two months at $5,900.

    Update:

Revenue has remained flat which is good.  Aparently there were some issues with how the songs were being listed and promoted which caused the anomaly in revenue over the last two months.

STARPARAMOUR has released 4 albums since 2018 and he isn’t stopping anytime soon.  So as he continues to gain more fans we should see these songs continue to grow overall long term.

    Updated Chart:

If you look at the album revenue you do see that SIX has cannibalized streams from the other top two albums.  This can be expected as fans are moving to the newer music.  This is because there is a limited set of fans, we would expect that as he increased his fan base that more and more fans will come in and listen to the older albums as well to eventually offset the current decline.

Investors must look at the long term potential of STARPARAMOUR to see the future long term value of owning these masters.  That would include the potential of remixing and re-releasing them in the future.

    Update:

Yes, SIX definitely took some revenue off, but there was also an issue with the XXX album and how the songs were promoted in June and July.  We see that Nights is back producing on track, and XXX is still seeing the effects of the listing and marketing issues, and we see the normal drop in revenue for a new album with SIX.

    Updated Chart:

The song details chart just reconfirms what we saw by album with the new album tracks taking revenue from the older tracks.

    Upate:

We see the previous tracks upticked back up and a decline in the new albums as new albums ususally see a pop and then drop off.

    Updated Chart:

    Conclusion:

STARPARAMOUR is using the funds from this sale to reinvest in his career.  This equates to better marketing and increased visibility and branding which in turn creates more value for this catalog because more fans increases the overall streams for legacy tracts as new fans come in and listen.

This is a great opportunity for a label or investor to purchase who can help with STARPARAMOUR to continue to grow as an artist as well as expand his fanbase to include other platforms and really market himself.

    Update:

The conclusions above are still the same.  Because of some marketing and listing glitches it effected the overall revenue in the last two months which should not be an issue moving forward.
